Matej Firický
Matej has over 16 years of experience in advising clients on mergers, acquisitions, banking, finance, capital markets, tax and state aid issues. He also provides legal and tax services for private clients.
He focuses on the domestic and cross-border structuring of holdings, is an expert in tax law restructuring and has detailed knowledge of the tax and legal aspects of most important offshore and onshore jurisdictions. In his rich and varied practice, Matej also focuses on corporate law, performing legal audits, representing clients in tax audits, tax and other administrative and court proceedings.
Prior to joining MCL, Matej worked at the Bratislava office of PwC, the Bratislava office of White & Case, and later, as a partner, he ran the Bratislava office of HAVEL & PARTNERS.
Matej is member of the International Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
