Vojtech Pálinkáš

Vojtech has over 23 years of experience in advising local and foreign clients on a variety of corporate and commercial transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures and corporate restructurings. His experience spans various countries and industry sectors. He also advises on all aspects of real estate transactions, including construction, development, sales and purchases and leasing. He has also advised on major energy (nuclear, CHP) and infrastructure (roads) projects.

Prior to joining MCL, he worked for 2 years at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer Bratislava and then for 18 years at Allen & Overy Bratislava where he headed the M&A/corporate and real estate departments. He has been consistently ranked as one of the leading M&A and real estate lawyers in Slovakia in major legal directories such as Chambers, Legal 500 and IFLR. Clients praise Vojtech for his “human approach,” citing him as “the one who was able to calm down the situation and handle the pressure.” Chambers Europe.

Vojtech has participated as a host or speaker at several professional conferences in the Slovak Republic devoted to the topics of M&A, venture capital and real estate organized by Trend, the Bratislava Property Forum and Amcham, He is also the author of several professional legal articles and the co-author of “Changes on the European Electricity and Gas Markets (Zmeny na európskych trhoch s elektrinou a plynom)“, a guide to the laws and regulations of the electricity and gas markets in several European jurisdictions.

Vojtech is a nature and sports lover. As a teenager, he was a member of the Slovak national handball team. He has two daughters and loves to spend time with his family. Vojtech is also fond of spirituality, space, physics and technology, and in recent years he has returned to playing the piano.
